Responsible for facilitating the planning, coordination, and execution of a portfolio of initiatives aligned with one or more enterprise strategic priorities. This role provides program-level oversight and governance to ensure initiatives are effectively planned, monitored, and executed in alignment with organizational objectives. Partners with priority sponsors, initiative sponsors, and cross-functional teams to manage interdependencies, risks, issues, and decisions across initiatives. Supports the deployment and continuous improvement of standard project and program management methodologies, tools, templates, governance routines, and reporting practices throughout the Strategy Execution Office.This role's focus is on strategic oversight, governance, executive collaboration, dependency management, program documentation, and structured execution.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or related field required. Graduate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registry: Project Management Professional, Program Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification required.

Experience: Five or more years of experience in structured project management, program management, strategy execution, operations, transformation, or related work required. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives or programs with multiple workstreams required. Experience working with executive sponsors, senior leaders, project teams, and operational stakeholders required. Experience managing initiative schedules, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and status reporting required. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience supporting enterprise strategy execution, transformation, project portfolio management, or EPMO/PMO functions preferred.Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of project and program management principles, methodologies, tools, and governance practices. Ability to facilitate planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex initiatives. Ability to manage interdependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and resource constraints across multiple initiatives. Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership. Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across cross-functional teams. Ability to support structured decision-making, prioritization, and escalation processes. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Project Web Application, strategic portfolio management systems, Visio, or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:1. Facilitates project and program planning for a portfolio of initiatives aligned with one or more enterprise strategic priorities.2. Partners with priority sponsors, initiative sponsors, and cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, deliverables, and success measures.3. Provides program-level oversight to ensure assigned initiatives remain aligned with strategic objectives, approved scope, timelines, resources, and expected outcomes.4. Manages initiative interdependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and resource constraints across the portfolio; escalates barriers and facilitates resolution with appropriate leaders.5. Establishes and maintains governance routines, including sponsor check-ins, workstream meetings, decision forums, reporting cadences, and escalation pathways.6. Develops and maintains program documentation, including charters, workplans, milestone plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive summaries.7. Monitors initiative progress, milestone achievement, risks, issues, and value realization; provides timely updates and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.8. Supports prioritization and sequencing of initiatives to maintain alignment with enterprise strategy, organizational capacity, and operational readiness.9. Coordinates with change management, communications, analytics, finance, operations, quality, technical and other enabling functions to support integrated execution.10. Identifies opportunities to improve Strategy Execution Office processes, governance, tools, templates, and ways of working.11. Maintains professional knowledge of project management, program management, strategy execution, and healthcare industry trends.12. Performs other related work as required or requested.
