Job Full Description
As an Autonomous Field Operations Assistant, you will support safe and efficient operations in outdoor field environments. This hands-on position involves operating and monitoring equipment, mixing and delivering materials, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to identify and resolve operational issues in real time.
Job Summary
  • Safely operate and monitor field equipment in outdoor environments
  • Mix and deliver adobe material
  • Operate small equipment such as mixers, skid steers, telehandlers, and man lifts as needed
  • Use hand and power tools safely and proficiently
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, including startup, shutdown, and safety checks
  • Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and positioning
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic equipment repairs
  • Identify abnormal equipment operations and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
  • Document work performed and report equipment or operational issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Support continuous operations across assigned shifts

Experience Required
  • Hands-on experience using tools or equipment with a mechanically inclined mindset
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physical field work, including lifting and extended periods of standing
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work assigned shifts
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
