Security Officers - Ludlow, VT

 
 Securitas is hiring for MULTIPLE Security Officers to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1st, 2026.

Pay:

$21.00/hr (Security Officer)

$22.00/hr (Lead Officer)

Basic Requirements:

  • Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift - very large property inside and out
  • Proficient with computers and digital reporting
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Dependable, punctual, and observant
  • Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement (e.g., greeting all who pass)
  • Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
  • Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
  • At least 18 years old
  • This is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking of any kind is permitted from any officers on or off duty.

Primary Security Officer Duties:

  • Access control
  • Interior and perimeter patrols
  • CCTV monitoring
  • Customer service and visitor support
  • Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
  • Vehicle patrols (MUST have a clean driving record!)
  • Occasionally dealing with de-escalating unruly crowds in a professional manner

Emergency Response Duties:

  • Activate and follow site emergency protocols
  • Support evacuations, lockdowns, and drills
  • Serve as liaison to client contacts and first responders
