We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to guide people operations for a growing organization in Nashville, Tennessee. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle while helping leaders strengthen performance, engagement, and retention across the business. The ideal candidate brings a balanced approach to strategic planning and hands-on HR execution, with a strong command of compliance, employee support, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Direct recruiting efforts from candidate sourcing through hiring, while ensuring smooth onboarding and well-managed employee departures.
• Advise supervisors and department leaders on employee concerns, corrective action, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
• Manage benefit offerings, leave administration, workers’ compensation matters, and retirement-related programs with accuracy and responsiveness.
• Maintain compliance with applicable employment regulations and internal policies, including required documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Oversee HR information systems, personnel files, and workforce data to support reporting, planning, and informed decision-making.
• Create and deliver training programs that support leadership growth, employee development, and a positive workplace culture.
• Organize engagement activities, recognition efforts, and company-sponsored events that reinforce connection and morale.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine HR practices, strengthen retention strategies, and improve overall organizational effectiveness.• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including experience leading core HR functions.
• Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations practices, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and managing HR metrics, reporting, and performance management processes.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to partner across multiple levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• HR certification is preferred.
• Background supporting construction, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades environments is a plus.
