Job description

Established in 1981, Rainbow Restoration offers home and commercial restoration emergency services. We also provide carpet cleaning and construction services with over 400 locations worldwide. We are on a mission to improve the lives of not only our customers, but also our employee family members. In this Administrative position, you are a key team member supporting the work of management and other staff. You are responsible for office management, clerical, receptionist, bookkeeping, and project-based work to contribute to the day-to-day operations of Rainbow Restoration. Exemplifying our code of values, you must show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow team members.

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with the scheduling of services
  • Clerical duty as required including mail processing, customer and job data entry
  • Notify customers of service call status and follow up with customers after the work is completed
  • Call potential customers to explain the company services and solicit business
  • Bill customers for work performed
  • Collect all monies from all sources (accounts receivables)
  • Pay vendors for services used (accounts payable) 
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements:

  • Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other computer software
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatory
  • Ability to learn new computer software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Team player who can work independently
  • Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
  • Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.

Compensation: 

  • Administrative Assistant (entry level/minimal experience): $14.50-$15.50 Hr.
  • Administrative Assistant 1: $16-$18 Hr.
  • Administrative Assistant 2: $18-$20 Hr.
  • Bookkeeper / Manager: $20-$25+ Hr. (competitive based on experience).
