Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing!

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our exceptional clinical team. In this leadership role, you'll partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor and support staff, promote clinical excellence, and help maintain the high standards that earned our deficiency-free survey. DUTIES:
  • Meet the nursing needs of all residents
  • Responsible for coordinating infection control
  • Responsible for educating the staff
  • Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
  • 24 hours on call
  • Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
  • Oversee the daily staffing process
  • Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current RN license required
  • Experience in Long-Term Care is preferred
  • 2 years of management experience is preferred
  • 1 year of staff education experience is preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills required
  • Flexible hours required
