Project Manager: Global Transformation AI Expert

Role Overview

The Project Manager: Global Transformation AI Expert leads enterprise-scale transformation programs at HP, with an incremental focus on the design, deployment, and adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation across global functions.

Operating at the Expert level, this senior role drives initiatives of high complexity, visibility, and business impact, translating AI strategy into disciplined execution. The role partners with senior and executive stakeholders to ensure AI solutions move beyond pilots into scalable, governed, and value-producing capabilities embedded in core business processes.

Key Responsibilities / What you'll Do

AI & Transformation Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end AI transformation programs, from strategy through execution and adoption
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to leverage AI/ML, GenAI, and automation across business functions
  • Translate business needs into scalable AI solutions in partnership with technical teams
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI trends, tools, and platforms; evaluate applicability to the business

Program Governance & Execution

  • Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk for large, multi-year initiatives
  • Establish and operate governance frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting cadences to ensure transparency and control
  • E2E Process optimization across GPOs including Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Design to Operate, etc.
  • Ensure AI initiatives align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and Responsible AI standards

Stakeholder & Financial Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing fact-based insights on progress, risks, adoption, and value realization
  • Drive financial discipline, including investment planning, forecasting, and benefits realization for AI and transformation initiatives
  • Communicate complex technical and AI concepts in a business-relevant, decision-oriented manner

Risk, Change & Adoption

  • Identify delivery, organizational, and adoption risks early; lead mitigation and issue resolution
  • Lead change management efforts to embed AI agents into operational workflows and drive sustained adoption
  • Champion continuous improvement through scalable, repeatable AI-enabled solutions

Organizational Leadership

  • Lead and influence cross-functional, global teams in a matrixed environment without direct authority
  • Mentor and guide project and program leaders, building organizational capability in AI-enabled delivery and transformation execution
  • Contribute to the evolution of HP's AI delivery standards and transformation practices

Who You Are

  • A senior transformation leader with strong execution discipline and experience delivering complex, enterprise programs
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and translating emerging AI technologies into tangible business outcomes
  • Highly effective at influencing executive stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Financially and analytically strong, with the ability to manage complex investment profiles
  • Collaborative, outcome-driven, and committed to innovation and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Typically 10+ years of project or program management experience in large, global organizations
  • Demonstrated experience delivering digital, technology, or transformation initiatives at scale
  • Experience in HP Services or similar complex, matrixed enterprises preferred
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including Generative AI, LLMs, automation, and data ecosystems
  • Experience applying AI technologies to real-world business problems (not just theoretical knowledge)
  • Familiarity with AI tools/platforms (e.g., OpenAI, CoPilot & CoPilot Studios, Anthropic, etc.)
