Job description

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team and fill an immediate need

Job Requirements:

The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain and repair electrical control and distribution equipment (switches, relays, circuit breakers, control panels), variable frequency drive systems, and programmable logic control (PLC) systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, and related equipment.
  • Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems.
  • Use electrical/electronic testing equipment such as multi-meters, ammeters, and megohm meters to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Fabricate parts not commercially available, using machine and hand tools to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining scheduled maintenance programs for plant equipment within CMMS
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential
  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or gas burner systems and controls is preferred.

  • 50K Waste Heat Boiler and 700 hp Gas-Fired Boiler and related equipment
  • 400-ton Air Cooled Rotary Screw Chiller and Cooling Tower
  • Various Hydraulic systems for the Oxidizers, Presses, Ink Dispense System, etc.
  • Three (3) 100 HP Air Compressors

Physical Requirements:

  • Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs
  • Must be able to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color coding
  • Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, and kneel repetitively during shift
  • Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for a shift
  • Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for a shift
  • Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant for a shift
     
     

Pre-Employment testing:

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. 

2nd shift - 1pm - 11 pm Monday - Thursday
3rd shift - 11pm - 7am Monday - Thursday
