Marketing Support- 300
AmeriCorps Members support Delaware-based nonprofits by providing hands-on, one-on-one marketing and outreach assistance that builds organizational capacity and strengthens community connection. Members are embedded with nonprofit partners and serve as a consistent source of support for digital communications, helping organizations share their stories, highlight impact, and engage audiences more effectively. Service activities focus on creating and managing social media content that promotes nonprofit missions, programs, events, success stories, and giving campaigns. Members work closely with nonprofit staff to develop and execute digital strategies that increase awareness, expand reach, and support volunteer recruitment. This includes building content calendars, designing graphics, organizing digital assets, capturing impact stories, and tracking engagement to measure effectiveness. In addition to year-round outreach support, members assist nonprofits in preparing for Delaware Giving Day, a statewide fundraising initiative that mobilizes hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of donors. Members help refine messaging, strengthen online profiles, and ensure organizations are prepared to share compelling stories that inspire generosity and community support. AmeriCorps Members also contribute to community building by recruiting and engaging student volunteers to support outreach efforts and extend the program's reach. All members participate in training sessions that build skills in digital communications, nonprofit operations, and community leadership, while tracking service hours, outcomes, and success stories to support program evaluation and continuous improvement.
