Job description

Position Summary:

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program Compliance Specialist executes the day-to-day compliance tasks for an affordable housing portfolio, including audits and subsidy tracking.  This role acts as the primary liaison between housing authorities and on-site teams, ensuring strict adherence to program requirements throughout the residents life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents utilizing the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program and the local Housing Authorities. Ensure compliance requirements are met throughout the entire resident lifecycle, including the initial leasing process.
  • Complete a monthly review and execute Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts.
  • Complete the legal and administrative requirements for 60-Day Notices of Rent Increase to ensure compliance with both program rules and local laws.
  • Provide guidance to on-site teams regarding HCV program requirements.
Additional Skills:
  • 1+ years experience with Housing Choice Vouchers, below market rents and/or affordable housing programs preferred.
  • 1+ years experience in property management preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Realpage/Onesite and Google Suite preferred.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Certification preferred.
Preferred Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:
  • 1+ years

Base Pay Range: $30.38 - $38.17

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
