Job Description: Housekeeping Manager

What you will do:
This position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the job duties are completed during the days and allotted hours. You will successfully lead and work with a team of 2-6 workers on specified days to ensure all duties are completed and cleanliness is to NCG standards. The role of Housekeeping at NCG Cinema is to maintain the NCG standard of cleanliness in all facility locations (lobby, auditoriums, restrooms, hallways).
  • Train and learn cleaning policies and procedures

Position requirements:
  • Bathrooms
    • Maintain cleanliness of toilets and urinals from top to bottom, clean all bowls every shift
    • Clean faucets and sink bowls
    • Change out of sanitizer liners as needed
    • Stock paper, soap, and any additional items as needed
  • Auditoriums
    • Blow out of all auditoriums daily
    • Vacuuming of all carpeted areas
    • Maintain cleanliness of all cupholders
    • Vacuum under recliners a minimum of twice per week
    • Wipe down of seats and snack trays as needed
  • Lobby
    • Vacuum all carpeted area
    • Glass doors as needed
    • Empty any trash
  • Hallway
    • Vacuum all carpeted area
    • Empty any trash
  • Grounds/exterior
    • Pick up any trash or debris found in parking lot or landscaping
    • Change exterior trash as needed
  • Manager
    • Housekeeping Manager can assist with hiring cleaner staff once properly trained

      • ​Housekeeping Manager can assist with janitorial supply ordering once properly trained

      • All cleaning duties are expected to be completed within the allotted hours

    • ​Staffing/Total hours

      • Staffing the number of cleaners per night will be determined by the day of cleaning and business forecasting

      • Hours for entire crew will be determined weekly and approved for first 90-days

    • Housekeeping manager will provide a schedule weekly to the General Manager of the building

  • Workdays to be Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday with work hours/days to be discussed in interview.
