House Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, managing household staff, and ensuring the home runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced working with families and children.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the household.
  • Manage and coordinate nanny schedules, coverage, and daily responsibilities.
  • Assist with the care and supervision of children as needed.
  • Maintain organization throughout the home, ensuring all areas remain tidy, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate household cleaning, laundry, and organization to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Supervise and communicate with household staff and outside vendors (housekeepers, maintenance, contractors, etc.).
  • Schedule appointments, household services, and maintenance as needed.
  • Keep household supplies stocked and organized, including grocery and household inventory management.
  • Run errands and assist with shopping when necessary.
  • Coordinate family calendars and assist with scheduling children's activities, appointments, and transportation as needed.
  • Anticipate household needs and proactively resolve issues before they arise.
