Job description

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, with Fridays 11:00 AM–3:15 PM available for additional hours. This schedule is required with no exceptions. Additional hours may be available as needed.
Availability Requirement: Must be available consistently during these hours. Some flexibility may be considered for occasional schedule adjustments based on availability and business needs.
About the Role
LebTav 17th Street is seeking a part-time Front of House Team Member to deliver an exceptional guest experience through friendly, efficient, and attentive service. In this role, you will greet and assist customers, accurately take and process orders, handle payments, maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, ensure order accuracy, and support daily restaurant operations, including end-of-day closing procedures. 
 
Front of House Team Members are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front-of-house environment, assist coworkers as needed, and proactively complete cleaning, stocking, and organizational tasks during slower periods. Success in this role requires professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service while upholding the restaurant's standards, policies, and values.
Responsibilities
  •  Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude. 
  •  Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. 
  •  Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully, communicating clearly, confirming orders before entering them into the POS system, and ensuring customers are never rushed. 
  •  Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu, ingredients, modifiers, and available options to accurately answer customer questions and process orders. 
  •  Remain productive during slower business periods by cleaning tables, wiping surfaces, stocking supplies, preparing to-go bags, organizing the dining area, clearing trays, and completing other cleaning or organizational tasks without being prompted. 
  •  Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. 
  •  Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect toward all coworkers, recognizing the importance of every role within the restaurant. 
Requirements
  • Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
