Our Visiting nurses provide client care in the client’s own home. They provide physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, counselling to individuals and families and much more.

What you'll do:
  • Client assessments to develop individual care plans
  • Provide primary care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals  
  • Simple and advanced wound care, including complex and negative pressure wounds
  • Chronic Disease Management, e.g. diabetes care and education
  • IV therapy and CVAD management
  • Phlebotomy and specimen collection
  • Dialysis Management
  • Rehabilitative programs
  • Palliative and End of Life Care
  • Medication management
  • And many other critical nursing skills 
What we're looking for: 
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
  • Community health experience is an asset
  • Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
