Job description

Responsibilities Arcfield is currently seeking skilled and motivated full-time Computer Engineer to support on-site at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). You will support Code 34 Radar In-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) Team. Tasking will include analysis, design and capability enhancements, testing support, and in-service support for new and fielded Radar Systems. Duties and Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at both NUWC lab and within the fleet. * Analysis for and development of Engineering Change Instructions and Engineering Change Proposals. * Perform gap, fault/failure, and performance analyses. * Document and present trade studies * Investigate capabilities and applicability of unique testing environments to support required testing objectives. * Perform impact analysis of testing on related systems /subsystems * Perform and/or support factory acceptance testing * Develop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations or technical information Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science. * BS and 0-2 years experience
* Technical writing and presentation skills required along with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office * Experience with process improvement methods, practices, and procedures (i.e., CMMI) is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment * Strong documentation and communication skills * Understanding DoD engineering design practices is a plus * Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. Active or very recent security clearances are a plus. * Must be able to travel 10% of the time. * Be able to hands on with hardware components and software.
