We're the market leader in bringing holiday shops to elementary schools nationwide — and it all starts with a phone call. Our team builds relationships with PTA/PTO volunteers and school coordinators across the country, helping them bring the Penguin Patch experience to their students.



Job description


Penguin Patch is growing and hiring. Do you have the gift to gab? Do you light up when you're on the phone with people? If so, this is the job for you.


We are located at 721 Chisholm Trail and Bear Creek Pkwy, due west of State Highway 377 in Keller.


What You'll Earn

$18-20/hourly as base pay, plus extra monthly bonuses

About the role

  • This is an office-based role with steady phone conversations all day — with school volunteers, parent group leaders, and your teammates. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

What you'll do

  • Call PTA/PTO leaders and school volunteers to introduce the Penguin Patch program and how it works
  • Bring genuine energy and warmth to every call — you're helping a school bring something kids love to their community
  • Listen for what each school needs and match them with the right program
  • Guide interested volunteers through signing up, start to finish
  • Stay sharp on our current programs and incentives so you can answer questions confidently

Qualifications

  • A love of talking to people — customer service or people-facing experience a plus
  • Communication skills that build real rapport, not just a script
  • A competitive streak and a goal-oriented mindset
  • Active listening — you hear the need behind the question
  • Basic computer comfort (email, simple data entry)
  • A team-first attitude — we cheer each other on

Education and/or Experience

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • 1+ year of phone-based sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience is a plus (not required)
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Comfortable learning new computer/phone systems
