Job description

Collision Repair, Detailing, Paint Refinising and Correction Instructor
Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education

Position Summary
Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education is seeking a qualified Collision Repair, Refinishing, and Automotive Esthetics Instructor to join our team on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in collision repair and refinishing, as well as modern automotive reconditioning practices, including professional auto detailing, paint correction, and the application of paint protection systems. The instructor must be able to effectively work with adult students, sharing technical expertise and practical knowledge. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 510 years of experience in collision repair, automotive refinishing, and/or professional detailing and paint reconditioning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-stage paint correction (swirl removal, machine polishing) and the application of advanced paint protection (ceramic coatings, paint protection film, sealants).
  • Ability to work effectively with adult learners.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to share industry knowledge and best practices.
     

Salary & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $40.30

  • Must pass criminal history background check
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
  • Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
  • Drug testing required
