Detailer Job Responsibilities
  • Perform high-level interior and exterior reconditioning on all vehicle makes and models, with a focus on the Honda lineup
  • Execute advanced paint correction, including buffing, polishing, and removing surface imperfections to restore factory gloss
  • Apply protective coatings and sealants with precision to ensure long-term vehicle preservation
  • Conduct thorough quality control inspections on completed vehicles to ensure they meet Tonkin's rigorous "Front-Line Ready" standards
  • Manage shop supplies and equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace

Detailer Qualifications
  • Proven experience in professional automotive detailing (paint correction and high-speed buffing experience preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a "fixed-right-the-first-time" mentality regarding vehicle aesthetics
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
