If you're a tech nerd who loves talking to people, is good at troubleshooting technical problems, and knows a thing or two about cars, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
With access to more than 41,000 batteries, we engage our customers, asking the right questions to determine the right battery for their application, whether it's a smart phone, recreational vehicle, PS4 remote, or mobility scooter. And as expert technicians, we diagnose and fix it all, from car and truck battery testing to fixing cracked phone screens, broken glass, faulty ports, and more.

Essential Job Duties
Customer Service / Sales
  • Greet customers, determine needs, and answer questions
  • Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers
  • Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy
  • Answer phones, assist callers, and ensure messages are relayed in a timely, accurate manner
  • Assist in achieving retail and commercial sales initiatives
  • Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities
  • Function as a team player doing whatever is necessary to help attain company goals
  • Demonstrate a customer-first mentality

Technical
  • Install batteries, perform tests and tech work
  • Rebuild battery packs as needed
  • Repair smart phones, tablets, light fixtures and other devices as needed
  • Replace screens, batteries and other components on smart phones and tablets
  • Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes

Merchandising / Inventory
  • Assist in all store operations responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Rotate and stock inventory
  • Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of product to customers or via third party delivery companies
  • Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance
  • Maintain retail shelf label pricing
  • Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures
  • Prepare store for daily opening and closing including counting and reconciling register drawers
  • Maintain physical facility safety and appearance including: mowing lawn, removing snow, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain restroom cleanliness
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments, effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong customer service focus; ability to inform, teach, and train
  • Working conditions are typical for a retail environment
  • This position requires the employee to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products. The position also requires the employee to regularly use a computer and other office equipment, as well as tools.
  • This position requires lifting up to 50 lb on a regular basis.
