Job description

Position Overview:
American Millworks is seeking dependable shop helpers to support our production team in a fast-paced, high-end millwork environment. This role is critical to keeping the shop running efficiently and maintaining the quality standards our projects require.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist craftsmen with material handling, assembly support, and general shop tasks
  • Move and stage materials throughout the shop safely and efficiently
  • Help with packaging and preparing millwork for delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support cutting, sanding, and prep work as directed
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Qualifications:

  • Prior shop, warehouse, or construction experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Attention to detail and respect for quality craftsmanship
Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience in a millwork or cabinet shop
  • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment
  • Forklift experience
