Join Our Team as a 2 or 3 Axis CNC Machinist at Lighthouse Manufacturing!

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience in CNC machining? Lighthouse Manufacturing is seeking a talented 2 or 3 Axis CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Portsmouth, NH. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components that meet strict aerospace quality standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine setups and operate 2-axis and/or 3-axis CNC machines
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Ensure parts meet tight tolerance requirements and aerospace specifications
  • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Familiarity with tight tolerance machining
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and techniques

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
  • Knowledge of G-code editing
  • Understanding of AS9100 quality systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Wire EDM a plus!
