Responsibilities:

  • Complete all general residential electrical in-home, service calls.
  • Perform thorough electrical system evaluations to diagnose issues, identify safety concerns, and spot code violations.
  • Use a consultative sales, value-based approach to educate customers and recommend upgrades that improve safety, efficiency, and overall system reliability.
  • Establish customer rapport and ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions.
  • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
  • Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
  • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

Qualifications:

  • Three (3)+ Years of residential electrical experience.
  • Clean driving record with no major infractions with the ability to pass a BMV.
  • Developed and proven track record of service in residential electrical systems.
  • Strong service sales aptitude with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and confidently recommend solutions that align with customer needs and add value.
  • Experience using ServiceTitan is highly desirable or strong technical and computer skills with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
  • Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.
