Job description

Title: Hourly Data AnalystDepartment:InformaticsReports To:ChairPosition Summary:

The Hourly Data Analyst will support research on sense-making with screen-free interfaces and explore novel research directions using donated hardware. The incumbent will contribute to both ongoing research initiatives and the evaluation of new applications for emerging interface technologies.


Essential Functions:
  • Provide support for existing gift-funded research projects as well as exploratory work focused on new applications for the interface.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
  • Research and game development experience.
  • At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be waived where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience that specifically prepares the candidate for success in the position.


Compensation: $15.92-$20/hour
