Job Title: Data Analyst (Reference Data Management - RDM)

Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with Reference Data Management (RDM) experience to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, data quality, governance, and reference/master data management within financial services, banking, insurance, or large enterprise environments. The role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of enterprise reference data while supporting business stakeholders through insightful analysis and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, validate, and maintain reference data across multiple business applications and enterprise platforms.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assessments.
  • Partner with business users and data stewards to define and implement data quality rules.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify data discrepancies.
  • Support Reference Data Management (RDM) initiatives, governance frameworks, and data lineage activities.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with technology teams during data migrations, system implementations, and data integration projects.
  • Document business requirements, data mappings, data definitions, and process workflows.
  • Support regulatory reporting, audit requests, and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Assist in establishing best practices around data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Data Management Analyst.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Reference Data Management (RDM) or Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets from multiple source systems.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and data lineage documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth Management domain experience.
  • Experience with RDM/MDM tools such as:
    • Informatica MDM

    • Markit EDM

    • Collibra
    • Ataccama
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
