This emergency department is the flagship hospital of the Catholic Health System (CHS) in Buffalo, New York. It features 34 private treatment rooms, 3 airborne isolation rooms, 2 resuscitation rooms, a 24/7 radiology suite and digital x-ray capabilities in the emergency department, bedside sonograms (Sonosite), and Epic EMR. The ED sees an annual patient volume of 53,000, and we provide both physician and APC coverage.
We offer a competitive rate, flexible scheduling, extensive CME opportunities, and leadership development for interested candidates. Qualified applicants should be board certified or board eligible in EM or be ABFM-certified with extensive emergency medicine experience.
