Job Summary:
Prolific is a company focused on building a large pool of quality human data for AI development. They are seeking Product Designers and UX Specialists to help train and evaluate AI models using real design expertise, offering paid opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge AI tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate LLM-Generated Designs: assess AI-generated wireframes, user flows, and product requirements for usability and logical consistency.
• Audit Accessibility & Inclusion: review model outputs to ensure they adhere to modern accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Fact-Check UX Principles: validate that model suggestions align with established design patterns and psychological principles (e.g., Fitts's Law, Gestalt principles).
• Annotate Design Logic: identify gaps in user journeys, redundant steps in a flow, or poor visual hierarchy in AI-proposed interfaces.
• Refine Product Requirements: evaluate AI-generated PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) for clarity, feasibility, and user value.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A BS, MS, or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience designing digital products, conducting user research, or building design systems in a professional environment.
• A deep understanding of usability heuristics, accessibility standards (WCAG), and user-centered design principles.
• The ability to provide high-quality feedback on UI layouts, user flows, and information architecture.
• Experience balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
