Valet Attendant - Hotels
Clayton Valet is looking to add more prompt, polite, and professional valet attendants to our team to provide exceptional customer service overnight.


Valet attendants are responsible for safely parking and retrieving guests' vehicles and providing top tier service to our customers and clients at hotels in the Clayton and St. Louis areas. Open positions start at $16/hr + CASH TIPS!

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $16 - 17/hr + CashTips
  • 401(k) 4% Match - available after 3 months of employment

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Skillfully and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without safety incidents
  • Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested (may require lifting up to 30lbs)
  • Enhance customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
  • Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping equipment and the work area clean and organized
  • Observe traffic laws and practice safety precautions at all times
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license
  • Must pass criminal background check - no felonies
  • Must have a clean driving record within the last 3 years
  • Must pass a driving and parking test
  • Consistently display safe driving practices and a complete understanding of vehicle basics
  • Must be available for All Hands on Deck (AHOD) events
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance at all times
  • Able to perform physical activities such as running and bending
  • Ability to stand up for up to eight hours
  • Must be able to work in all elements (i.e. rain, snow, sunshine)
  • Must have transportation or a complete understanding of the MetroBus/MetroLink schedule
  • Tattoos must be concealable
