About the role:

TheConciergeis a central part of the Front Office Team whose mainobjectiveis to ensurethat desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current. They must know what activities are available in the area (theatre, sports,special events, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) andestablishesclose contacts with vendors in these areasin order toprovide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.

What you will do:

  • Respondsto a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing theguestneeds and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction whilecomplying withall Four Seasons' policies.

  • Handlesall guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints.

  • Assistscustomers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-houseeventsand directions.They will respond to all guest requests inan accurateandtimelymannermaking recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.

  • This position is also responsible for processing packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.

  • The Concierge maybe responsible forassistingwith Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed.

  • Ensures standardsare being met,guestsatisfaction is high andresponds to all guest requests inan accurateandtimelymanner

What you bring:

  • Minimum1-2yearsofexperiencein a similar role,in a luxury hotel settingpreferred.

  • Requiresthe ability to multi-task on several items at once.

  • Working knowledge ofcomputer systems,hotel operating systemsandexperience withMicrosoft Suite,OPERA/Concierge Smart preferred.

  • Knowledge of Vail and the surrounding communities.

  • This role has direct contact with guests and as such,good communicationskills are a necessity.

  • Fluency in English isrequiredfor thislocationand this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanisha plus.
