Job description

Life as a Sales ManagerWe're Driven By Culture at Lodging Dynamics, and we're looking for a Sales Manager who already knows the hotel business from the inside. Prior hotel sales experience is required for this role.Leads and manages all activities related to the sales function with a focus on acquiring and building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable property sales objectives.Creates and implements a sales and marketing plan addressing revenue, demand generators, and target customers.Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).Participates in sales calls with the General Manager to acquire new business and/or close on business.Analyzes market information using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve the property's financial goals.What we're looking for:Required: minimum of 1 year of hotel sales experience. Experience with Marriott, Hilton, or a similar major brand is preferred, but hotel industry experience of some kind is not optional for this role.Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a related field; 4-6 years of related experience may substitute for a college diploma.Proven track record in sales and leading teams.Analytical skills with knowledge of hospitality trends and tools.Strong proficiency in communication and public speaking.Strategic account management, closing, and negotiating skills.What to expect in your first few months:First you will begin by learning about our hotel spaces, offerings, and amenities, inside and out!
