Hotel Operations Shift Manager

THE JOB: As a Hotel Operations Shift Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring seamless Front Desk operations and delivering the world-class service synonymous with the MGM brand. Partnering closely with the Senior Hotel Manager, this leader drives both the operational excellence and financial performance of the departmentoverseeing labor management, guest experience, team engagement, and daily strategy execution.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Works closely with the Senior Hotel Operations Manager to implement strategic Initiatives provided by Hotel Strategy CoE for hotel operations.
  • Assist in leading the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations for all front desk operations team.
  • Responsible for employee engagement of the front desk operations team, utilizing the tools provided and through coaching, training, rewards and development.
  • Provides leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within front desk operations, consistent with the company's service standards.
  • Participates with: Interviews, candidate selections, training, supervision, counseling and coaching of front desk operations staff for the efficient operation of the department.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • 2+ years of experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment

Pay Range:

$48,300.00 - $64,300.00

This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
