Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Assurance Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 
 
General Manager - Fairfield by Marriott
 
Location: Draper, UT
 
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead our 66-room Fairfield by Marriott, which is entering an exciting new chapter as it transitions to the City Express by Marriott brand. This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives on leading change, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
 
As General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, including financial performance, team leadership, guest satisfaction, sales initiatives, and brand compliance. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role throughout the property's conversion, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
* Provide overall leadership and direction for the hotel's daily operations.
* Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share through effective financial management.
* Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team focused on service excellence.
* Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and consistently meet or exceed Marriott brand quality standards.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and expense management.
* Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and all applicable regulations.
* Lead the property's conversion from Fairfield by Marriott to City Express by Marriott, coordinating with ownership, brand representatives, contractors, and vendors to ensure a successful transition.
* Develop strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key accounts to increase market presence.
* Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

* Experience managing select-service hotels preferred.
* Strong financial acumen with a proven record of achieving revenue and profitability goals.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain team members.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with hotel property management systems, revenue management principles, and Marriott operating standards.
* Previous hotel renovation or brand conversion experience is highly desirable.
