Hotel Sales Manager
Home2 Suites Las Vegas North and Comfort Inn and Suites Las Vegas- Nellis are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead hotel sales efforts, grow revenue, build strong client relationships, and support the overall success of the property.
The ideal candidate will have prior hotel sales experience, strong knowledge of Hilton, Marriott, or IHG brand standards, and a proven ability to develop business from corporate accounts, groups, extended-stay guests, local negotiated accounts, and community partnerships.
Position Summary
The Dual Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue for the hotels through proactive sales, account management, local business development, and strong follow-up with prospective and existing clients. This role will work closely with hotel leadership to identify new business opportunities, maximize occupancy and revenue, and ensure the hotel maintains strong relationships with corporate, group, and local market accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute hotel sales strategies to increase OCC, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, extended-stay business, group bookings, local negotiated accounts, government, sports teams, tour groups, relocation business, and other demand generators.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, chambers of commerce, travel managers, event planners, community organizations, and key market contacts.
• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client meetings, networking visits, and follow-up communications.
• Manage existing accounts and ensure repeat business through consistent communication and excellent service.
• Respond to sales inquiries, RFPs, group requests, and corporate account opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with hotel leadership to evaluate rates, availability, market demand, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contacts, leads, account notes, and follow-up tasks.
• Monitor local market trends, competitors, demand generators, and business opportunities.
• Partner with the General Manager and operations team to ensure group arrivals, corporate guests, and key accounts receive excellent service.
• Assist with revenue strategy, special promotions, local marketing efforts, and community outreach.
• Represent the hotel professionally at networking events, business meetings, and local community functions.
• Support brand standards, guest satisfaction goals, and overall hotel performance objectives.
Qualifications
• 2 years of hotel sales experience required.
• 3 years of hotel leadership or hotel management experience preferred.
• 2 years of Hilton, Marriott, or IHG brand experience preferred.
• Prior experience with Hilton systems, extended-stay hotels, or select-service hotels is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel sales, corporate accounts, group business, negotiated rates, and local market development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to make outbound sales calls, conduct site visits, and build professional relationships.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems, sales platforms, and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet sales goals.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service mindset.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable representing the hotel in the local business community.
Preferred Experience
• Hilton brand experience.
• Experience with Home2 Suites, Hampton Inn, Tru by Hilton, Homewood Suites, TownePlace Suites, Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or similar select-service/extended-stay hotels.
• Experience developing corporate, construction, government, medical, relocation, sports, and extended-stay business.
• Familiarity with hotel revenue management, STAR reports, local negotiated rates, and group sales.
