ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the hotel during overnight hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This role oversees nightly financial processes, including balancing debit and credit transactions, posting room charges, and preparing accurate reports for management and accounting. In addition to audit responsibilities, the Night Auditor delivers attentive guest service and addressing guest needs promptly. With a strong focus on safety and security, this position plays a critical role in safeguarding guests, staff, and the property while maintaining operational excellence throughout the night.

  • Process telephone calls
  • Process overnight arrivals and departures
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payment
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • Resolve minor guest complaints
  • Refer major guest complaints to Front Office Manager or Front Desk Supervisor
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related form
  • Completes night audit and reports via Maestro PMS
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and local points of interest
  • Arrange services required for guests with special needs
  • Provide information regarding room status and special guests to other departments
  • Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly
  • Learn the Night Audit procedures
  • Perform related Front Desk duties as directed by Supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Front Desk or Night Auditor experience strongly preferred
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
  • Willing and able to work solo or as a part of a larger team
  • Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning& sanitizingstandards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs

The starting wage for this role is $19.00/hour.
