Overview
Join our team as a General Maintenance Engineer at the historic Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, a beautifully restored landmark with over 100 years of history. As a vital member of our Engineering team, you'll help preserve the character and integrity of this iconic property while ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and exceptional experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. You'll perform routine inspections, respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and assist in managing preventive maintenance programs to keep our century-old property operating at the highest standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for maintaining historic buildings. Experience in hotel, commercial, or facility maintenance is preferred.

โ€ข Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
โ€ข HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
โ€ข Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
โ€ข Certification in pool operation preferred.
โ€ข Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
