Maintenance Engineer – (Hotel Engineering Career Growth Opportunity)

Salamander Middleburg Resort & Spa | Middleburg, VA | Full-Time

Join the Engineering team at Salamander Middleburg, a Forbes Triple Five-Star luxury resort. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer who takes pride in quality work, problem solving, and keeping a luxury property operating at the highest standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, hotel engineering, HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance experience looking for stable work and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests quickly and professionally
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and complete basic repairs
• Perform minor repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry and fixtures
• Replace outlets, lighting, filters and guest room equipment
• Maintain tools, parts inventory and engineering logs
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
• Support team projects and communicate shift updates
• Assist with training junior engineers when needed

Required Skills

• Maintenance, facilities, hotel engineering or building experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical or general maintenance
