The Position: We’re looking for a Houseperson who is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public spaces and corridors of the facility. Having public spaces, including lobbies, entrances, elevators, and restrooms, that are clean, fully stocked, and in good working order allows us to deliver on an exceptional experience for our guests.

Additionally, Housepersons contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.

The Responsibilities: 

  • Clean and maintain all public spaces of the facility; responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Cleaning entrances, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, exercise and pool areas

    • Picking up and removing trash

    • Cleaning and stocking public restrooms

    • Sweeping, vacuuming and dusting public spaces

    • Cleaning windows and mirrors

  • Maintain clean, safe and thoroughly stocked work areas

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests as appropriate

  • Report any damage, mechanical problems, or missing room equipment/items

  • Promptly turn in found items with documentation to Lost and Found

  • Participate in deep cleaning programs as assigned

  • Assist housekeeping staff with assigned duties as requested

The Requirements: 

  • Must be able to successfully work alone and complete tasks in prescribed timeframe

  • Effectively communicate with our guests and team members

  • Good eye for detail
