About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a Hotel Manager to support day-to-day hotel operations across Food & Beverage, Rooms, guest experience, and cross-department execution. With Food & Beverage serving as a central part of the hotelโ€™s operating rhythm and guest experience, this role will play an important part in strengthening service consistency, leadership routines, communication, financial discipline, and operational follow-through across the property.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced operator who is energized by building structure, developing leaders, and strengthening consistency in a dynamic, high-touch environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Food & Beverage fundamentals, polished luxury or lifestyle service instincts, and the humility to lead from both the floor and the table.

What you'll do
  • Support day-to-day hotel operations across Food & Beverage, Rooms, and guest-facing departments, ensuring strong communication, service execution, and operational follow-through.
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership across Food & Beverage outlets, supporting service standards, guest engagement, manager development, and consistency during key service periods.
  • Partner with Food & Beverage leaders to strengthen operating routines, clarify expectations, improve accountability, and build confidence among managers and teams.
  • Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping leaders to support a seamless Rooms experience across arrival, stay, service recovery, and departure.
  • Translate brand standards, service expectations, and operational priorities into clear, practical routines that leaders and teams can execute consistently.
  • Support financial performance through labor management, cost control, revenue awareness, inventory discipline, and thoughtful operating decisions.
  • Partner with Culinary, Events, Marketing, and Brand teams to support programming, activations, events, and revenue-generating guest experiences.
  • Strengthen communication and alignment across departments, ensuring leaders are clear on business levels, VIPs, events, priorities, and follow-through.
  • Reinforce standards for food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, workplace safety, cleanliness, and company policies.
  • Serve as a steady leadership presence during peak periods, service challenges, guest opportunities, and moments requiring additional operational support.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, with strong Food & Beverage leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated success leading Food & Beverage operations in a multi-outlet, high-touch, or complex service environment.
  • Experience supporting broader hotel operations, including Rooms, guest experience, service recovery, labor management, and cross-functional communication.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence; comfortable coaching in real time, supporting peak periods, and reinforcing standards directly with leaders and teams.
  • Strong ability to develop managers, build accountability, clarify expectations, and address performance gaps with professionalism and urgency.
  • Solid financial acumen, including labor management, forecasting, cost controls, inventory discipline, revenue awareness, and P&L understanding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across departments and create alignment between Food & Beverage, Culinary, Rooms, Events, Marketing, and Brand.
  • Solutions-oriented, organized, and resilient, with the ability to lead through complexity, change, and operational pressure.
  • Professional presence aligned with Hotel Bardoโ€™s brand standards, with the humility and energy to lead from both the floor and the table.
