We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, and Excel-proficient Accounting Clerk to make an impact with our team in Romulus, MI

Responsibilities:
  • Records business transactions and keys daily worksheets onto the general ledger.
  • Process invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
  • Enters, reviews, and verifies all entries put into the billing systems on a daily basis.
  • Maintains filing systems; as well as daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Utilize computer systems to run reporting, pay bills, and order supplies.
  • Research, tracks, and resolves accounting problems.
  • Post monthly deprecation and enter journal entries into the general ledger system.
  • Assists accounts payable and billing department and perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or working towards it.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, or food service industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of posting/reclassing journal entries.
  • Knowledgeable in fixed asset depreciation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems, technologies, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under time and resource constraints.
