A fast-paced, family-friendly brewery restaurant and beer garden in Lewes is looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. We’re known for our backyard-cookout-inspired menu, scratch-made pub favorites, live music, and a fun, all-ages atmosphere with indoor + outdoor seating.


What You’ll Own

  • Lead daily back-of-house operations in a high-volume kitchen serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of cooks and kitchen staff focused on quality, consistency, and safety
  • Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to hit COGS and quality targets
  • Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards across all shifts
  • Partner with the GM and front-of-house to execute seasonal menus, specials, and large events
  • Ensure timely, craveable execution of items like slow-cooked wings, burgers, nachos, crab dip, and rotating features
  • Foster a positive, team-first culture that keeps turnover low and morale high

What You Bring

  • 3+ years as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume restaurant or brewpub
  • Strong leadership and communication skills — you coach in the moment and lead by example
  • Experience with menu costing, inventory systems, and P&L responsibility
  • ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain; strong knowledge of HACCP procedures
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during beach season
  • Passion for made-from-scratch food and creating memorable guest experiences in a casual, energetic setting
