As the Sales Rep, you will be overseeing many accounts and grasping all potential opportunities; brining great value to our hotel and team. Full job description
  • Answer leads and groups as they come through: whether through our partnering sites or direct contact through the hotel
  • Seeking all business opportunities and profitable prospects on a day-to-day bases for 2 hotels in the area.
  • Following up with clients and companies to maintain our partnership with our key accounts and their guest keeping consistent communications.
  • Reviewing all accounts and revisit them every year to keep our key accounts returning.
  • Complete contracts, company proposals, finalizing groups rooming lists and payment, ensuring payments for any groups or Direct Bill Companies are paid and not past 30 days.
  • All paperwork and responses are to be handled in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately enter, track, and maintain account information, client interactions, and booking details in the hotels brand systems.
  • Ensure all details requested by your guest in contracts are met to their expectations
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, providing updates on activity, pipeline, and opportunities.
  • Assist with the creation of sales action plans and targeted prospecting strategies under the direction of the Director of Sales.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, tradeshows, and community activities to promote awareness and generate leads.
  • Maintain a well-documented and organized file system to support effective account management and follow-up.
  • Deliver superior client service by responding promptly to inquiries, managing client expectations, and resolving concerns quickly.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the competitive set and local market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude and maintain strong communication with colleagues across all hotel departments.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and sales training to continually improve performance.

Experience

- A minimum of 2 years experience in Hospitality Sales
- Communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Quick to learn a new system and structure. Experience in the hotel Operating Systems is a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual or Multilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Available to travel between properties and local businesses. Range of approximately 30 miles.
