Design spaces people feel. Build places people remember.

We’re looking for a dynamic, design-driven Interior Designer to join our growing team and help shape hospitality experiences across the country. At Fortuna, we don’t just design restaurants and coffee shops, we create environments that tell stories, build brands, and bring people together. From neighborhood cafés to full-scale dining concepts, our work lives at the intersection of design, culture, and experience.

If you’re equal parts creative thinker and detail-driven executor, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative studio, we want to meet you.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Interior Design (or a related field) and a strong design foundation
  • Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • A sharp eye for materials, finishes, color, and FF&E
  • The ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals and presentations
  • Confidence managing multiple projects or diving deep with a single client across phases
  • Solid understanding of commercial design standards, ADA, and building codes
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a solutions-first mindset
  • A collaborative spirit and the drive to grow within a tight-knit team

What You’ll Do

  • Lead client conversations and help guide projects from concept to completion
  • Shape design narratives, translating brand, vision, and experience into space
  • Develop full design packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and makers
  • Build presentations, mood boards, and concepts that communicate with impact
  • Contribute to space planning, furniture selection, and material specifications
  • Draft equipment plans for coffee shops and restaurants (we’ll teach you what you don’t know)
  • Support design continuity from early concept through construction
  • Review drawings and documents to ensure everything aligns

Why Fortuna

We are a multi-disciplinary studio rooted in hospitality, combining design, coffee, fabrication, and consulting under one roof. That means your ideas don’t just live on paper, they get built, experienced, and brought to life. You will be part of a team that values creativity, craftsmanship, and momentum, where no two projects are the same, and every detail matters.
