JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Catering Warehouse Assistant (part-time)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
The Catering Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operations of the catering warehouse by maintaining inventory, preparing event equipment and rentals, organizing storage areas, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring all catering assets are clean, accounted for, and event-ready. This role is critical to the success of catering events by helping the operations team execute efficient pack-outs, returns, and warehouse organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Assist in designing & standardizing all displays and buffets based on menu items and guest count with Warehouse Manager
o Assist in pack outs of all events on a weekly basis (Pull and stage equipment, rentals, decor, and supplies for events)
o Assist in running missing items & equipment out to events when needed
o Assist in the organization and pulling of all rental equipment
o Unload delivery and event trucks and return items from dish and carts
o Assist with event set up and breakdown when necessary
o Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse and loading dock
o Assist with seasonal deep-cleaning, inventory, and warehouse improvement projects
o Load and unload catering vehicles safely and efficiently
Qualifications and Experience:
o Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
o Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
o Strong organizational and time-management skills
o Attention to detail and ability to follow packing lists and procedures
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team
o Catering, hospitality, event operations, warehouse, or rental industry experience (Preferred)
