Owned by the Giacomini family, Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company (PRFC) is a fourth-generation, family-owned dairy and creamery known for producing award-winning artisan cheese on the farm where the cows are raised. PRFC offers a unique and dynamic work environment-one where hospitality, agriculture, and culinary craft come together to create an exceptional guest experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Hospitality Associate is a key member of our hospitality team, serving as an ambassador of our farm, creamery, and brand. This role is central to delivering a thoughtful, elevated guest experience across our marketplace, cheese tastings, and on-farm events during peak season.

Working closely with retail, culinary, and events teams, the Hospitality Associate ensures that every guest interaction reflects our heritage, craftsmanship, and commitment to sustainable agriculture. This is a guest-facing role for someone who takes pride in professional presentation, clear communication, and genuine hospitality.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a retail, tasting, and on-farm event environment. The role includes regular interaction with guests, exposure to food products, and occasional outdoor conditions. The position requires attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active position requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The employees must be able to remain on their feet for extended periods and safely lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.

SCHEDULE

This seasonal position. Typical schedule is Friday - Saturday, approximately 9:00am-5:00pm. Select evening shifts and special event coverage are required. Weekend availability is essential.
