Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active Cerner proficiency for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details
  • 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
  • Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and triage cases
  • Procedures and activities include vaginal and C-section deliveries, pre-op care, admissions, discharges, transfers, external cephalic versions, and cerclage
  • Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license (Standard or Compact) required โ€” no pending licenses accepted
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • US Social Security Number required
  • Date of birth required for consideration
  • Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
  • Candidates with Nursery and/or Postpartum (PP) experience are preferred in addition to L&D experience
  • Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • CPI certification is mandated for this position
