Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at Doctors Hospital of Laredo. Join us to grow your career, make a meaningful impact, and deliver high-quality care in the communities you serve.

  • Patient Volume: 24,500 annual ED volume
  • Specialties: Cath lab, CT scan, ICU, MRI, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Management/Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Peds, Ortho, Urology, Trauma
  • Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage - 12 hour shifts; 20 Hours APP Coverage - 10 hour shifts
  • Number of Beds: 13 bed ED (8 regular rooms, 2 negative pressure, 2 trauma rooms, 1 cardiac)
  • Acuity: Level III Trauma Center
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Admissions/Transfers: Complex Peds got to Corpus Christi or San Antonio


Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEA
  • Board Certification: Board Certified ABEM
  • Badges: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
