Purpose & Scope:
The OR Posting Clerk is responsible for scheduling of elective and add-on procedures through a computerized system. Scheduling of these is coordinated with consideration to patients, physicians and Central Registration Requirements. He / she is also responsible for data update entry of all downtime operative nurse's records from the OR, when requested.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
One year of OR posting is required.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
