Job description

Our client in Rockville, MD is seeking a Data Entry temp to assist the finance team. They need someone that's' comfortable with heavy data entry and learning new systems.
  • Contracted 3-6 months, 35 hours/week
  • Hybrid Schedule, 3 days in office 2 days remote
  • Pay Rate $25/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Enter donation, event ticket registration, and other revenue-related information into financial systems and CRM system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update donor and member financial records, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.
  • Review checks and accompanying documentation to accurately categorize and code transactions.
  • Prepare and organize electronic or physical backup for finance processing and audit purposes.
  • Communicate with staff as needed to clarify or resolve discrepancies in transaction data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • BA or 1-3 years equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work with both professional staff and volunteer leadership
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, positive attitude with professional communication skills.
  • Ability to transition easily from one activity to another.
  • Ability to multi-task, managing multiple concurrent projects, while meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
