The Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) is a critical financial leadership pipeline role that serves as a direct tributary into the hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. This position manages the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department to ensure that it is providing effective and efficient service.

Our women's pavilion is the only freestanding, center city facility dedicated to the health of women and their newborn babies. We welcome nearly 3,000 newborns into the world each year. We are home to the Methodist Weight Loss Center. We have been designated an American Society for Metabolic Surgery Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence®.
Our hospital has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as a Best Place to Work in Healthcare. We are the first hospital in San Antonio to achieve Pathway to Excellence designation. - You will demonstrate competence in hospital accounting, internal control environment and compliance requirements
- You will establish executive presence (temperament, competencies and skills across situations)
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or other related area required
- Master's degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of three years in finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experience
- Experience as a hospital Controller preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
