Location: Houston, TXPOSITION PURPOSE

The Controller and Treasury is responsible for the overall financial stewardship of Opus CMC by leading all accounting, treasury, financial reporting, cash management, internal controls, and banking operations. This executive-level position ensures the integrity of the Company's financial records while safeguarding corporate assets, optimizing cash flow, maintaining strong banking relationships, and supporting strategic financial planning.

The Controller and Treasury oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, manages the monthly and annual financial close processes, develops and maintains internal financial controls, and ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role partners closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Leadership Team to provide timely financial insights that support informed business decisions, operational excellence, and sustainable company growth.

    Education & Experience

    Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a Controller, Treasury, or senior financial leadership role.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience managing corporate accounting and treasury functions.
  • Strong experience with financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and cash management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
