Position Summary:
Provides professional and technical skills to provide safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the patient care areas.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • CA Certified Nurse Assistant Course
  • C.N. A. License
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements: Orientation, OSHA, EOC, Infection Control, Abuse/ Neglect, and Ethics.
  • Tuberculosis Screening
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year nurse assistance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
