Sage Rehabilitation Inpatient & Outpatient facilities is seeking a Full-time TRANSPORTATION TEAM MEMBER (Van Driver) to safely transport patients to and from various medical appointments to include hospital admissions, doctors' appointments and various other medically related visit types.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Candidate must possess current, unrestricted Louisiana Drivers License.
  • Current Unrestricted Chauffeur's License in the State of Louisiana
  • Current CPR certification
  • Provides safe patient transportation to and from the Inpatient, Outpatient, Wound Care facilities as scheduled in company provided van
  • Maintains communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location throughout the day.
  • Ensures patients and other passengers are safely in the vehicle and are using safety belts prior to driving vehicle to next destination.
  • Follows all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.
  • Ensures that vehicle received regular maintenance per schedule and completed vehicle safety checks.
  • Previous experience as CNA in a hospital setting preferred
